Unlike latest albums "Black Asceticism" and "Hesychian Noise" (and "Offering", though it's chronologically 3rd) with their bizarre songwriting and rock sound, this is harsh, brutal and straightforward creation. "...and Darkness..." requires a lot of attention and willingness to concentrate to be fully understood in its apocalyptic might.
